Carol Ann Duffy

Carol Ann Duffy is Professor and Creative Director of The Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her poetry for both children and adults has received many awards; most recently The 2021 Golden Wreath Award in North Macedonia. She was UK Poet Laureate from 2009-2019. Her most recent publications are Sincerity (Picador 2019) and the anthology Empty Nest (Picador 2021.)
